Business School of Jiangxi Normal University was established in 1995. Upholding the school motto "Innovative, pragmatic and transcendent", the faculty and staff of the school advocate realistic spirit, standardize management and promote innovation, which has brought about fast progress in many ways.
The school has management disciplines and applied economics. At present, there are one first-level conferrable right of Master of business administration and 4 second-level conferrable right, including enterprises management, technological economics and management, marketing, and human resource management. The school is also authorized to grant MBA.
We offer 5 undergraduates programs, including business administration (direction of entrepreneur management included), human resource management, marketing, e-commerce, international trade and economics. Cooperating with the school of international studies we offer two more undergraduates programs: international business administration and international marketing with the model of "the English language + profession". Excellent courses span principles of management, project management, enterprise strategy management, marketing, consumer behavior, statistics, financial management, international trade theory and practice, among which principles of management, human resource management and methodology of management research are high-quality courses at provincial level.
Our school ranks leading position in size among the schools of the university. Currently there are 2,000 undergraduates and graduates and 400 continuing education students in school. Sticking to our top priority of qualified personnel, we are committed to the training of creative talents of economy and management for society who mastered related solid foundation knowledge, outstanding ability to work, comprehensive accomplishment and bold noble minds. In recent years, under the guidance of teachers, our students have successively won awards in the "Challenge Cup" competition New Venture Plans, National and province-wide Science and Technology academic work competition, National universities and colleges "creative, innovative, entrepreneurship" e-commerce challenge, national university students mathematics modeling contest. Our student societies hold various popular activities and team up with well-known enterprises like Lenovo Group, China Unicom, Tencent. The employment rate of our graduates is over 95%, making our school well-received.
The school has a strong strength of faculty group. The existing staff 55 people, including 12 professors, 18 associate professors, of whom 17 are doctors, 29 masters and 19 master supervisors and of whom 4 academic leaders, 2 backbone teachers at provincial level and 1 "top 10 teachers" and 1 "teaching master" at university level. Besides, 40 domestic and foreign well-known scholars and entrepreneurs are invited to be academic and practice-based visiting professors at the school.
Our school has a sound internal organization and provides good foundation and conditions. It is composed of 5 departments, including Business Administration, International Economics and Trade, e-commerce, marketing, and human resource management. We also set up one entrepreneurship education center and one MBA education center, 2 teaching and experiment centers and one library. A beautiful campus environment and fully equipped teaching facilities provide the school with essential condition of modern teaching.
The school is the research center of economy and management in Jiangxi. The school has one key research base of innovative and entrepreneurship, key research center for Humanities and Social Science in Jiangxi province. As a Consumer Committee of Jiangxi Computer Association, it takes the lead in a pilot innovative experiment area, a national first e-commerce professional colleges and universities.
The school plays an active role in "Industry-University-Institute" activities and offers social services. We established an economic management training center, serving enterprise executives to provide training and advisory services.
We have been also dedicated to higher education internationalization. The school and school of management of Taiwan Chung Cheng University has already signed co-operation agreements, with 10 undergraduates selected to study at each other's school as exchange student every semester. The school has set up the cooperative training projects with Dresden international university in Germany, which seniors may enter and study for master's degree at a famous German university.
